Do you know what I remembered walking home today?
It's been a while since I've looked upwards, upwards heaven's way.
And gazed at stars in a silken sky, the shadows of God's eyes,
And find his shining smiling face behind a dark disguise.
But can't I see God doesn't hide from me but me from Him?
And when I cry most bitterly He too understands my sin.
So maybe when I'm looking up, at the stars above-
I'm truly seeing His sparkling eyes, full of forgiveness, faith and Love
