Dear Mom,
This summer hasn't seen many posts to this blog-my bad. However, I have done so many fun things and so I thought that I would take a small moment to update you with the things I have been doing! Please, enjoy :)
1- I am dating. I know, I know...big time stuff here. Sarah Elizabeth is just one of the greatest girls that I have met. Coming from a family with four nearly perfect women makes dating mere mortals dull and boring, unless you get to date Sarah Elizabeth. In spite of our inability to choose a date when we started dating, we have had so much fun with each other the past half year. Rock climbing at the local climbing gym, trips to St. George, visiting the Bestors up the road, playing in the river, traveling to Moab, hiking Timp, playing in waterfalls, riding my motorcycle and stealing a kiss every now and then...the bliss of dating! It's been so much fun, but I have quickly realized how important it is that we stay well rested so that we can be at the top of our game. She is such a peach, and I just love her!
2- Working....work.....wooork- 5 jobs in one summer! I've worked at LimeRicki, Sports Camps, Landscaping, Cougar Club, Ampelis and other little offers here and there. The people that I've gotten to know at these different places has been so wonderful and I've enjoyed the feeling of putting my mind to a task, getting into it and seeing results. I am super tired by the day's end, but how glad I am because of the things that I am learning and experiencing!
3- Serving with the stake presidency- wow. I am getting a better idea of what it must have been for Dad to serve as a Stake President. Sundays start at 7 and rarely finish here in the office before 3. Couples coming in for their living recommend, people changing their lives, fathers receiving new callings...all sorts of things take place here! President Wood is absolutely amazing and filled with the Spirit and I'm lucky to work with such wonderful men.
Mom, I promise to update the blog more and you'll be getting a better idea of what I've been up to :) I sure love you and grateful for your sacrifice as a missionary!
